It wasn’t quite the 75,000 sell-out that Old Trafford usually sees on Manchester Utd match days but we still had an excellent turnout for the first Employee Engagement Alliance/Engage Solutions Group educational and networking event last week.
HR and operational leaders from across the North West came together for an afternoon of learning, but not before we kicked off in appropriate style with a private stadium tour (Fascinating fact: The Sir Alex Ferguson Stand has a capacity that is greater than the ground capacities of five Premier League clubs!)
Then it was into the session proper, cycling through some key engagement issues: from the demands brought on by the changing digital landscape, to the challenges of developing practical programmes, to leveraging surveys and other data sets to afford new insights. We wrapped up with a lively Q&A that underscored the immense appetite for quality learning around engagement before breaking for drinks and some animated chat and discussion.
It was also an opportunity to air our latest thinking on what you need to drive engagement success on the ground - a technical framework that maps to a strategic framework built on our selected five pillars of engagement: communications, accessibility, enablement, recognition and feedback. That technical framework is now embodied in our latest Engage platform - and if you weren’t able to join us why not take a look here at our 2-minute explainer video?
