Engage gears up for professional push

Engage Solutions Group has announced the recruitment of ex-Thomson Reuters, Advanced Legal and Lexis Nexis sales director Peter Gill to lead its new Professional Services division, which will focus on legal, insurance, finance, accountancy and consultancy firms. 

CEO Phil Wedgwood comments: “Pete and I have had previous lives in legal and we’re very excited to be making a return. ESG is already well established in sectors such as retail, transport and manufacturing, where our platform supports engagement end-to-end, for both colleagues and customers. Legal is different, we know that, but they’re still wrestling with essentially the same conundrum – how best to deliver the right sort of experience and environment for everyone. That’s evident in the wave of intranet replacement and client app projects going on, and we just want to put our hand up and say ‘stop, you need to take a look at this because we’ve already done most of the hard work for you.’

So joining up with a team I’ve previously worked alongside on a mission that combines my sales experience with my interests with the challenge of taking something new into legal, that wasn’t an opportunity going to be passed up.

And it’ll be good to go beyond my old stomping grounds of IT and finance, and to look at how we can help others, be they focused on operations, service delivery, HR, wellness, L&D or business development. There are so many dimensions to engagement, in contrast to the singularity of time-recording or finance systems – I hesitate to use the word transformational but it will certainly drive a lot of positive change across today’s practice.”
